Sunscreen, 2.11 Ounce. We all use it during our vacation.

great for people who aren't a fan of heavily scented. Lightly scented (very minimal scent, great for people who aren't a fan of heavily scented products), not very greasy, SUPER easy to apply. Many baby sunscreens (especially the more natural ones) are thick and hard to spread (without the added variant of a baby or toddler not wanting to be lathered in sunscreen). This one is different. It spreads nice and easily. I appreciate that the directions tell how much to use (many people don't use enough sun screen) and to apply it BEFORE you go outside. What I like the most is that it is free of parabens and other nasty stuff that we're overexposed to and that I don't want on my children. This product makes me feel better about sending my kids outside in the sun because their skin is protected but they're not covered in nasty chemicals.

Great Product. This is the best sunblock for my toddler I have found so far. it is not greasy, doesn't burn her eyes, it protects from the sun and air pollution (block), it is also easy to put on (no goopy thick mess). This product also acts as a moisturizer. They have great accreditation and many awards they have won as well. The only thing I would change is the price point. $15 seems a little high for 2.11 oz. of sun block. It is a small container but that also makes it more convenient to throw in the beach bag. All in all I really like this product.

Wonderful. Its a small tube and so gentle for baby's skin. Has a very light scent and doesn't seem to affect my little one's skin at all. A little goes quite a ways, thick creamy and goes on smoothly. I think it's a great sunscreen. I like that it blocks both UVA and UVB rays. Many sunscreens don't block UVA radiation, which doesn't primarily cause sunburn but can increase the rate of skin cancers like melanoma. I'm a nurse and I've had melanoma removed off of me so finding a good sunscreen for myself and my family is especially important to me.

It's a gentle suncreen, but with very short expiration date. It’s summer. And we all know summer is hot, summer is full of big bright sunshine. While summer is a perfect time for all sorts of outdoor activities. Thus sunscreen and insect repellent are some essential to pack when I headed outdoor during summer time. I always look out for gentle, natural, and effective body sunscreen for sensitive skin type. This Plagentra Baby Suncity Cream is a 2oz sunscreen in white plastic tube. I have a very sensitive skin, so I prefer using the baby one for myself since it tended to be gentler than regular sunscreen. When I applied it to my skin, it was very smooth and with a very pleasant fragrance with it. But when I opened it, I was surprised to see there’s no seal of this tube, and the expiration date is on October 16, 2016. And it's almost the end of July......There are not even three months left for me to use. Guess it did mean to be used in summer only. This sunscreen did provide protection to my skin when I was exposed under sunlight. But I would prefer to receive a much fresh product with longer expiration date when I purchased it.

Effective mostly natural sun screen. First off, this is not an all-natural sunscreen like I first assumed, however, this is my fault because I did not read the entire description/ ingredients prior to purchasing. With that being said it did not have any thing that I know of to be harmful and contains mostly all natural ingredients as stated by Plagentra. It is really hard for me to find an all-natural and organic product that actually works! I do not like the thought of chemicals being leaked into my children’s skin, but I also do not like babies with sun burns so I feel like this has been the best choice for my children so far. I have two children: a 6 month old and a 2-year-old. My kids are very light skinned (thank you Irish/English heritage) so they can’t afford to be out in the sun very long without protection. My two-year-old is very active and she has long curly hair that despite my best efforts, is always in her eyes. When we go out she is constantly wiping her eyes to brush back her hair and ends up getting sun screen in her eyes. I do not like many sunscreens because they are sticky when applied and we live in Virginia with hot, humid summers so this is important factor for me. This product does not come in a very big bottle, but a little bit goes a long way. It feels like a light lotion and does not make my skin feel greasy. I put it on my toddler’s skin and we went outside to play in the sun for two hours. Nothing got in her eyes, nor did she complain once that it hurt her. I also applied the sunscreen to my 6 month old. Infants often have such sensitive skin but she had no reaction to this sunscreen at all. I forgot to reapply the Suncity cream but it didn’t seem to matter because none of the kids were burned. Over all I was very satisfied with the product. I wish it came in a larger bottle because I feel like it will be used quickly with 2 children but as I mentioned before, a little seems to go a long way.

Not 100% natural, but what is these days. Reading the amazon title of "natural" baby sunscreen was misleading. After receiving the product I could not find the word "natural" anywhere. The active ingredients are Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Ethylhexyl Salicylate and Titanium Dioxide. On Ethylhexyl: "Although the Cosmetics Ingredient Review notes that reproductive and developmental toxicity can occur in relation to Salicylic Acid, one of the two primary components of Ethylhexyl Salicylate, it has determined that the levels used in cosmetic and beauty products would not cause any adverse reaction." Source: truthinaging.com. This didn't thrill me. It's bad for you, but don't worry, you're not using enough of it to notice. Another source from http://articles.mercola.com discusses possible brain toxicity from Titanium Dioxide. There are a whole slew of other inactive ingredients that I didn't bother to research. I know these are common ingredients found in sunscreens and are approved by the FDA, but I'm careful about what I put on my children (and myself for that matter). Honestly I will be looking into other options.

GREAT SPF 36 Natural sunscreen. This sunscreen goes on without that white thick look. It's easy to apply, rubs in great and it's SPF36! My kids commented on how much they liked this sunscreen, and it has the physical barrier (titanium dioxide) which is an ingredient I always look for in a sunscreen! The gel formulation really makes this a different sunblock than others on the market. I received this product at an incredible rate and I'm thrilled about using this on my entire family!

Great sunblock with less chemicals. I really wanted a product that had less harmful chemicals in it than the mainstream sunblocks. My oldest daughter is enrolled in a zoo program this summer, so I knew we would be outside quite a bit. My baby has extremely fair skin, and I was very worried about her possibly burning. My oldest takes after me and is darker skinned, but considering how often we would be outdoors, I was worried about her too. After a full week of camp, I can say that I am very satisfied with this cream! It works like a dream, and we managed to get through a whole week without a single sunburn on anyone. We went to an uncovered splash park, too, and I thought for sure that we would burn after that, but we came out unscathed! I did usually reapply once throughout the day, and the tube is not huge. I think we have enough for one more week, and then I will need more. I do think I am using it a lot more often than most people do since I am out at the zoo every day, so I don't feel as though I am getting cheated or that I have to use more product than with a "normal" sunblock. This product also does not have a heavy chemical smell, which is awesome. It is a very faint smell. Love that my kids don't reek of chemicals through out the day.

Great line and product. I have used Plagentra products in the past for both myself and my 3 month old son. I wanted to also purchase a sunblock product as we are moving in the summer months and I want him to be able to be outside without a sunburn. I purchased the 2.11 fluid ounce tube of "Baby Suncity Cream" in the Plagentra Baby series. I continue to really enjoy the look of the product and packaging. The little green background is actually shapes of babies and baby related items such as teddy bears, giraffes, stars, spoons, rocking horse, bunnies, etc. There is a cute little cartoon animal, maybe a hedgehog in the middle that is wearing a diaper. This product is not just a sun block but it also helps to block out air pollution. It is a 36 plus sun protection factor. It provides UVA and UVB protection. The product states, "Baby Suncity Cream which maximizes SPF efficiency and at the same time, minimizes skin irritation by distributing powder particles evenly based on the advanced UV dispersing technology "Powder in Gel System"." The packaging includes indication and usage instructions as well as dosage and administration. This information indicates that it should be used 30 minutes prior to sun exposure. It also should not be left in an area with extreme temperatures either hot or cold. The top unscrews and screws on easily. It is easy to squeeze out at the desired amount. It is not too watery or too thick. It has a very pleasant, slight smell. It rubs in easily and does not leave an overly greasy residue. My little guy has not had any skin issues or irritation from the product. The active ingredients listed are: Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, and Titanium Dioxide. The packaging sites that the product has won the 36th Golden Prize at the International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva. I remember this brand being very awarded from the other products I have purchased. The paperwork inside shows the certificates and awards that the brand has earned. The line uses a lot of natural products. On the list of ingredients I found the following: Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, Arnica Montana Flower extract, Achillea Millefolium Extract, Gentiana Lutea Root extract, & Artemesia Absinthium Extract. Overall, I like the product a lot. I would have no problem recommending it or purchasing it again.

Summer time in the south u really need a good sunscreen! This product has a wonderful light smell and goes on perfect for the baby. We went to the lake a few days and he didn't get sun burnt. I love being able to put a sunscreen on my baby that is non toxic and safe for my baby. My baby has pretty light skin so I'm so thankful this worked. I love this product and would love to try out some of there other products too. I received this product at a discounted rate in return for my honest review.. I'm very picky when it comes to what goes on my baby so me giving this product 5 stars means I really loved it.

FTM to twins. I am a FTM to twin girls and been looking for products that are safe to use on them especially on their sensitive skin. The few times that I have used it I didn't notice any breakouts from the sunblock on their screen which is a because plus for me. Now that the weather has been nice and sunny I want to take my girls out more and was looking for a good and safe sunblock. I really like this product, it goes on nice and easy not like the typical sunblock which can be too thick. This sunblock also has a nice light scent, the bottle is the perfect size to fit in your diaper bag, It's not too big nor too small.

Detailed review on Plagentra Baby Suncity Cream. Note: Although this review is lengthy, it provides information on Plagentra Baby Suncity Cream and compares its ingredients to a few leading mineral-based sunscreens. For years, I bought sunscreen products OTC (over the counter) at Target/Walmart based mainly on (low) price and didn’t think much about all the ingredients they contained or potential adverse long-term effects. Several years ago, that changed when it was time for me to start using sunblock on my son. After reading many online articles on the subject of safe sunscreens and learning about the researches done by the Environmental Working Group, I decided to switch to those with the best scores on EWG’s list of sunscreens. In the past couple of years, I have been using Badger Kids Sunscreen SPF 30 and Badger Sport Sunscreen SPF 35 for my family. Recently, I came across Plagentra Baby Suncity Cream on Amazon. It states that it is FDA Approved and contains no hazardous ingredients such as parabens, Phenoxyethanol, synthetic fragrances, alcohol, or Benzophenone. I was given an opportunity to buy it at discount in exchange for an honest review, so I decided to try it. My objective review below is long, but I wanted to provide information I found so that those who care to read it in entirety may find that this information is useful in making a more informed purchasing decision. First, the product itself and initial impression of its performance. See the photos below my review. This baby sunscreen is 60 g, 2.11 oz and is SPF 36. It is a small tube, about 5 inches long. It comes inside a green box, which also contained a folded pamphlet about the product. The tube itself does NOT list the ingredients, only the box does. The user may want to keep the box for reference and not discard it. I did test this sunblock on the forearm of my son, and at the same time, applied the Badger kids sunscreen on his other forearm for comparison. The Plagentra sunscreen is much more creamy and smooth, and applies much easier than the Badger sunscreen, which is thicker, grittier, and harder to apply (see photos). Its whitish color also disappeared more quickly than the Badger. After about an hour and half in the sun, I examined both of my son’s arms and found them to look the same. No noticeable difference in color, and no redness in the arm with the Plagentra. However, this is a very short and limited test, and I cannot make any definitive conclusion to the effectiveness of the Plagentra sunscreen for longer exposure to the sun. Now, onto the ingredients of the Plagentra sunscreen. The following are listed on its box as active ingredients, followed by a rather long list of inactive ingredients (too many for me to list here, but see the photo). Although the 3 active ingredients and inactive ingredients are listed on Amazon for this product, they are at the bottom of the page and not at the top, and I missed them before the purchase. Active Ingredients: Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate 7.5% Ethyhexyl Salicylate 5.0% Titanium Dioxide 3.0% My first reaction was the TiO2 content is too low. All mineral-based sunscreens I’ve used either had zinc oxide > 10% or zinc oxide + titanium dioxide combined > 10%. Not familiar with the other two active ingredients, I did some online searches. Internet info on Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate and Ethyhexyl Salicylate: Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate * Also known as Octinoxate and Octyl Methoxycinnamate * Used in products that protect the skin from sunburn and other adverse effects of the sun * Approved by the FDA for use in over-the-counter sunscreens up to a concentration of 7.5% (a) * Listed on the Environmental Working Group (EWG) cosmetics database as Octinoxate, having a high concern as an endocrine disruptor with a score of 6 (with 1 being the best safety score) * Used in 413 sunscreens on EWG’s 2015 listed sunscreens with SPF greater than 30. Of these sunscreens, a few have a composite score of 2, which is second safest only to those with a score of 1. These include Beyond Coastal Active Sunscreen SPF 34 and Nature’s Gate Kids Mineral Sunscreen, SPF 50 (b) Ethyhexyl Salicylate * aka Octyl Slicylate * Used as an ingredient in sunscreens and cosmetics to absorb UVB rays from the sun (c) * FDA has approved for use in sunscreen with up to 5% concentration (a) * Listed on EWG as Octisalate with a score of 4 * EWG notes that “Octisalate is a sunscreen ingredient with a generally good safety profile. It can stabilize avobenzone and result in longer-lasting sun protection.” (b). Low concerns are enhanced skin absorption and Ecotoxicology * 476 of sunscreens with SPF greater than 30 listed on EWG contain Octisalate. Of these, those with a score of 2 include Beyond Coastal Active Sunscreen SPF 34, Nature’s Gate Kids Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50, and Babyganics Mineral-Based Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50+ (b) Sources: (a) truthinaging.com (b) ewg.org (c) wikipedia.com As a comparison, the active and inactive ingredients for Beyond Coastal Active Sunscreen SPF 34 and Nature’s Gate Kids Sunscreen SPF 50 are provided below: Active Ingredients for Beyond Coastal Active Sunscreen SPF 34: Octinoxate (7.5%) Octisalate (5%) Avobenzone (3%) Octocrylene (6%) Inactive ingredients include: algae extract, larch tree extract, vitamins C, E, aloe vera, shea butter, rose hip oil, castor isostearate succinate, glycerin, and isopropyl palmitate. Source: Beyond Coastal website; Environmental Working Group website Active ingredients for Nature’s Gate Kids Sunscreen SPF 50: Octinoxate 7.5% Octisalate 5% Octocrylene 7% Zinc oxide 6.9% Inactive ingredients include: aloe barbadensis leaf juice, calendula officinalis flower extract, caprylhydroxamic acid, caprylic/capric triglyceride, caprylyl glycol, cetyl dimethicone, chamomilla recutita (matricaria) flower extract, glycerin, isopropyl palmitate, magnesium sulfate, neopentyl glycol diethylhexanoate, neopentyl glycol diisostearate, polyglyceryl-2 dipolyhydroxystearate, polyglyceryl-4 isostearate, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, sodium chloride, tocopheryl acetate, triethoxycaprylylsilane, water. Source: Nature’s Gate website; Environmental Working Group website Summary and conclusion Plagentra Baby Suncity Cream has a creamy consistency, applies very easily, and does not produce a pale looking skin color. Exposure to the sun for an hour and half did not result in a redness or burn. Its active ingredients of Octinoxate and Octisalate are also used by Beyond Coastal and Nature’s Gate sunscreens (score 2 on EWG). However, without additional research, it seems that Plagentra’s inactive ingredients contain more chemicals than those by Beyond Coastal and Nature’s Gate. Badger sunscreens (EWG score 1), which I use as a standard, do not contain Octinoxate or Octisalate. Badger sunscreen is much thicker and harder to apply than Plagentra sunscreen. Plagentra sunscreen has similar active ingredients to Beyond Coastal and Nature’s Gate, both of which have a very good safety score of 2 on EWG - Plagentra is not (yet) in EWG’s sunscreen database. At this time, I have not searched further into Plagentra’s inactive ingredients. It could be safe to use as the main sunscreen for my son. However, I’ve decided to stay with Badger for him instead (18.8% ZnO), even as he liked how the Plagentra (only 3% TiO2) applies much better than the Badger. I will use the Plagentra sunscreen for myself. For my rating for this product, starting with 5*, I take off 1* for the low 3% TiO2 content and another 1* for the Octinoxate and Octisalate, with 1* added back for its easy to apply property = 4*. I may revise this rating in the future, based on more usage.

Three stars. This sunscreen goes on light and has a pretty typical sunscreen aroma, but not too overpowering. I used it on myself, but haven't had a chance to use it on my baby yet, as it is still pretty wintery here. To be honest, when I read this product was from Korea I was a little concerned, and I recognize this is probably totally off base, but I used to live in China and don't trust a lot of products manufactured in China to be truthful in the description of the product. I realize Korea is not China, but i'm just being honest that it makes me concerned -- I thought I was buying product from "Plagentra USA" but it is actually not manufactured in the USA, and i'm not totally sure I want to apply it to my baby's skin.

Summer here we go. Thank you Plagentra for selling this amazing product. I live close to the beach so sunburn is very common on me and my kids. I have a 5 year old and a 4 month old baby . I used the sunscreen and first, smells good, it is very easy to go on the skin and best of all it works! I love it does not contain harmful chemicals, easy to toss in your diaper bag and be ready for summer time! My kids did not showed any bad reaction to it and were happy all day, just make sure to reaply as needed. I really liked this sunscreen.

Works great for my fair skinned son!!! I was very excited to try Plagentra Baby Suncity Cream and have been extremely happy with it's results. After researching the dangerous chemicals in typical sunscreens and seeing some of it's harmful effects myself, I was ready for a big change. My son has a very light complexion and sensitive skin, so I am always nervous to try new things on him. After using this product a few times, I am very pleased with it. He has had no side effects, rashes, or irritation. The best news is that he also seems to be very protected from the sun! We were outside for several hours in the hot sun yesterday at my older son's baseball game (we live in sunny Florida!), and I applied Plagentra Baby Suncity Cream before the game. At the end of the game, he was not red or sun-kissed at all, which is not typical during baseball games. This product worked great and I look forward to continuing to use it this summer!

Smells great, not sticky. This is the second time ordering something form this product line. I ordered a lotion before and was really impressed with that. I decided to try the suncity cream since it is getting hot here. My daughter wore it at school on an 80-degree day. She came home not looking greasy and not smelling of sunscreen. It had the smell of new baby lotions that is mild and light. I am very sensitive to sunscreen and can't use anything with PABA. I used this as well with no issues and no hives. I am very concerned with the products I put on myself and my daughter. Harsh chemicals and hormone interrupters are not something I want to put on us. This has plant-based ingredients and not a super high SPF number that is basically just added chemicals. I do wish it were waterproof. I don't see that listed anywhere on the package so I am assuming it's not, especially with the name of sanctity. I assume it is just for out and about activities. That would be the icing on the cake for this product. The bottle is on the smaller side, but it also doesn't take a lot to cover a toddler-body. I think this will last us a couple of months. It is perfect for preschool or theme parks. It is easy to throw in my purse or bag on the go.

It's got the smell of summer! My baby is 6 months old and the summer is beginning! I do a lot of hiking and walking outside, so far this year we have had a few really beautiful days, one of which gave my little one a bit of sun, which mama didn't like too much. I needed sunscreen for the little guy but the last thing I wanted was to smear chemicals and his super soft baby skin. So I was thrilled at the opportunity to test out this product and give some of my honest feedback. Proceed for my completely honest opinion.... I love it, it's pure and smells good (still has that classic sunscreen smell or what I view as "the smell of summer." It's the perfect size to last the summer and toss in the always overflowing diaper bag (don't act like this isn't you too). It blends well and protects well, and as with any sunscreen, make sure you reapply every couple of hours as it will remain effective. I have nothing negative to say, all around great product.

Great coverage. I love all the products in this line. I can't say it enough. 36 SPF is great enough for a a little one. I know some people like higher protection but it is a little bit of over kill in my opinion. It went on smooth and was a little greasy but that is to be expected since it is water resistant. It is still winter here so I can not speak as to how well it protects for the sun but will update once it is warm enough to spend some time outside. This smells great like the rest of the product as well.

Chemical free and blocks the harmful rays of the sun !! Nice thick all natural sunscreen in a cute travel size plastic bottle ! For my toddler, the only way I will use sunscreen is if it's paraben free and free of any other harmful chemicals that are dangerous for our kids . Being in south Florida it's very difficult to find a product that is chemical free and still blocks the UV rays but this product seems to be the one! The lotion is fairly thick, has a very light scent and a little goes a long way. As with any sunscreen product, just make sure to really rub it in so the whole area is covered. My 15 month old daughter has extremely sensitive skin and this product does not appear to cause any rashes or dry out her skin like some baby body lotions we have tried . I'm happy that we found this product and we will definitely be using it again.

Perfect to stick in our to go bag. My first reaction is that this is a tiny tube of this product. The tube says 2.11fl.oz, which won't go far during the summertime unless it was used on only the face or a tiny baby. The tip of the tube is nice so you can direct where you want it to go unlike regular sunscreen bottles which have a flip cap and end up with big globs everywhere you are trying to put it. I also don't worry about it catching on something and opening when I put it in or pull it out of my bag. This tip is nice so I don't get out too much when I'm trying to do something small like a child's face. It does leave a light, fresh scent- almost like baby powder I think it is reminiscent of. We haven't been out in the sun long enough to need a lot of sunscreen yet, as it is only February, but we will be trying it out as it continues to get warmer so we have a sunscrenn that is small enough to keep in our bag.

I tried it on myself first and was pleased with the scent and the feel. When my daughter was born she was extremely fair, she took after her father who burns almost the instant the sun hits his skin! I knew I needed to find a quality, natural, sunscreen. That's when I stumbled upon Plagentra! I quickly ordered a bottle. I tried it on myself first and was pleased with the scent and the feel, it wasn't strong or sticky like many sunscreens are. I lather my daughter up with this everyday to keep her skin protected and have loved it so far.

Good Sunscreen. I really like this Plagentra baby Suncity cream. This sunscreen when applied is very gentle and soft on your skin. It has an SPF of 36. When looking for a sunscreen for your baby I always want something that is gentle non-toxic and yet will protect you from the sun and sun damage. Not only does this cream protect you from the sun it also is moisturizing on the skin. I like that when you apply this sunscreen it does not leave a greasy, white or grainy residue on your skin. During the day I reapply this sun screen and so far it has protected the skin and kept it from getting burned. After the day is done it is easy to wash off the sunscreen. I would recommend the sunscreen because it is gentle, smooth, non-irritant and protects your skin very well from the sun. I like also the packaging of this sunscreen it does not squirt out and get all over, it comes out easily and slowly. Also the lid closes firmly and does not open on its own, so it will not open and leak all over your bag.

I love this stuff. I love this stuff. My grandbabies are very fair skinned & burn easily. This cream is great for their sensitive skin.

Protective and light weight! This sunscreen is wonderful! It's not greasy, not too thick, and spreads easily. I used it on my kids at the park, and it was great! Fast, easy and no lingering visible white layer (which I hate from normal baby sun screan) I guess I should also mention that both of my red heads came home with no visible signs of sun exposure! Two thumbs up for this one! 👍👍
